Write down your awful or sad thoughts and feelings. Let them out of your system; get your fears off your chest. By noticing your thoughts and feelings you will be better able to find the true cause of your anxiety and deal with it; also you will be a step closer to accepting them. For now though just write about them, write them down, and let the cause of them come to you naturally. Once you experience feelings of stress, anxiety or depression get your notebook or journal and write them down, get them out of your system; this will be a great start and will help you to relieve stress. It will also help you to face your fears and assist you to begin to accept them and accept any uncertainty surrounding them.

Journaling is a great way to get your feelings out, out of your system. Record your worried thoughts and feelings down in your journal. Accept that these are just thoughts and cannot harm you, and try to move on. Let your journal be your outlet. Everyone needs a place or a person to confide in.

Some people find relief from going to an isolated place and screaming their heart out. Whatever method you choose to start to get your worries and fears out of your system, remember to let it all out, whatever it is that is bothering you, and begin to let it go, all of it! This will help your head to clear and let you start from fresh; also it will help you to see things from a more objective, less emotionally involved, perspective.

When you ask a person what worries them, it could be something as simple as leaving their houses unlock or not being able to pay their credit card bills on time or their child's health. However, when you ask one person who is suffering from anxiety disorder, you would probably get detailed answers of worrying over a typo on the last report he filed, or her sister's wedding arrangements three months away or fretting over her child's scratched knee. An anxious person tends to exaggerate every situation and cannot help themselves but worry themselves to death. You could find them awake at 3:00 in the morning still worrying about the same things. This is anxiety and fortunately, it can be controlled without having to resort to taking prescription drugs or medications. Here are some anxiety management techniques that you can apply to your daily life:

1. Exercise You can simply take you dog to the park or take your family to go hiking on the weekends. Jog for a mile or two. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Learn a new sport. Take up gardening. The list goes on. Whatever physical activity that you can find, do it. You can focus all that nervous energy into something more healthy and productive. Exercise can certainly reduce stress, anxiety, aggression and frustration. It is a perfect anxiety management technique.

2. Breath Having a breath of fresh air is not only an idiomatic expression; it is also a life-saving activity. Go out of the city as much as you can and find a place with lots of trees and water. Even more important, practiced controlled breathing. Deep breathing techniques are advocated by activities like yoga and tai chi. It encourages people to breath from their abdomen. This type of breathing is actually a meditative technique because it requires you're full and constant attention, with all your worries shoved to the back of your mind.

3. Connect Maybe your anxiety is due to the fact that you cannot think of anything outside your family and friends. Widen your circle. Join a local charity organization or even a book or sports club. Having something for yourself alone can be a refreshing moment in life. It's also good to find new people who share the same interests as you.

4. Organize It could be that stress and anxiety is a result of mismanagement. Some people simply have too much to do on their hands that it becomes very difficult to remember everything. Add structure to your life. Use an organizer or a Blackberry to plot the day, week or month's activities. Leave messages on your answering machine to make sure you don't forget anything. Organization is a very good anxiety management technique.

If you find yourself unable to deal with the normal stresses of daily life, you might be called a basket case. If I had a dime for each time, I had to deal with someone elses emotions, let alone my own I would be the wealthiest woman in the world right now. Instead of writing about emotions, panic, and anxiety, I would probably be someone in the world escaping the process of completing the project. Woo -what did I just say? Oh, escaping, not… If you are constantly trying to escape responsibility, you will spend the course of your life worrying, panicking, and feeling anxious. Anxiety in many cases is worse than the concequences that follow.

The truth about life is that it is a wonderful experience – a lot like an explosive device in fact. If you sit down and think about the many problems the world faces today, you will see that many of our world leaders, religious groups, and people in society live and die to express emotions. Most times the people express emotions in a negative pattern that often leads to war, religious battles, death, murder, and the like. Continuing down this train of thought will lead you to the obvious conclusion that emotions are bad and often get the best of people.

Reality is a life of entertainment that has many beliefs, ethnics, race, groups, backgrounds, history, and the like. If you sum up the entire course of history, you will see few ever learn from it, yet many will tell you to learn from their mistakes. What, hypocrite get the toothbrush out of your own mouth before you go plucking the toothbrush from my mouth. As you can see anyone can tell you anything and everyone can tell you all things, yet it takes you to decide. What, what do you mean decide? I have a choice.

The choices that we make in life will often resound throughout the years that follow them. Choices give us options or selections. When we have options and selections, we cultivate preferences. Preferences are favorites, that often cause conflicts because many people cannot determine preferences void of partiality. Partiality is prejudices, that are preconceptions, bias, and most times a leaning on invalid reality. It is null and void of facts. For this reason, we need preferences, but we need reality too. For this reason, find your fondness in life without adding prejudice to the cup of tea. I enjoy pointing out logic to people, since many miss the point. Ive noticed many emotional stricken people in society that find it difficult to find their place in life, that leads to stress, anxiety, and panic. Most people spend the course of their lifetime doing what others want them to do, that is only causing additional stress. Instead of worrying about managing your stress, worry about managing the things that cause you that stress in the first place.
